HomeReady® First: Empowering First-Time Homebuyers

The HomeReady® First program by Umortgage is designed to help first-time homebuyers overcome financial barriers and achieve homeownership. This initiative, offered through Fannie Mae, is targeted to buyers residing in designated census tracts and provides valuable financial assistance, including:

• $5,000 Grant: Can be used toward down payment or closing costs.

• Appraisal Credit: Up to $500 to cover appraisal costs at closing.

• Home Warranty Credit: Optional $500 credit for a 1-year home warranty at closing.

To qualify, at least one borrower must be a first-time homebuyer, purchasing a primary residence in an eligible area. This program is an excellent opportunity for those looking to make their first step into homeownership with added financial support.
